Pension reforms in Central and Eastern Europe in a global perspective: Lessons learned
Résumé
Author shares the ILO's view on the major pension reforms that have taken place in the world, and especially Central and Eastern Europe, duringthe past two to three decades. He first place the reforms in Central and Eastern Europe in their historical context and that of the global policy debate on pension reform. Then he briefly looks at their effects, and finally he draws some general conclusions from particular countries' experience of pension reform. This experience has influenced the ILO's general policy stance on the question.
