Résumé

This book looks at how innovative food assistance can be used avert starvation during humanitarian crises.   It looks at ways in which food assistance over the long term can promote  development and thereby break the deeply rooted hunger-poverty cycle.  Chapter 7 in particular focuses on a cost benefit analysis of the food and aid transfer program in Malawi.
