Resumen

This paper gives a presentation of a joint ILO - CICLASS research project on the development of a conceptual and normative framework for micro-health insurance as a social security instrument in India. The overall purpose of the activities to be conducted during the proposed project is to develop principles, guidelines, norms and standards that are or should be applicable whenever micro-health insurance schemes are developped, organised, operationalised and regulated.
