British Virgin Islands: Report to the Government Eighth actuarial review of the Social Security system as of 31 December 2003
Resumen
The present review, covers the period 2001 to 2003. The actuarial report is divided into five Sections. Section 1 presents the experience of the system since the last actuarial review. Section 2 describes the demographic and economic environment of the BVI and provides the framework within which the Social Security system will evolve over the next 50 years. Section 3 presents the projected revenue and expenditure of the various Branches of the system under the present legal provisions. Section 4 shows the impact of modifications to the system. Section 5 presents considerations on statistics.
