An electronic costing model has been developed to provide assistance for determing the cost of a set of basic social security guarantees in a user friendly way.The model is a simple and robust quantitative deterministic "if-then" model with long-term projections (30 years) of fiscal cost of basic social protection benefits and external donor requirements. Projections are based on interlinks between demographic parameters, macro-economic parameters and social protection benefits.
