Question 6 : Which are the main principles of the ILO convention 102?

>> Principle 7 : Suspension of Benefit

The benefits may be suspended if:

  • The person concerned is absent from the territory of the state in which the entitlement to benefit has been acquired
  • The person concerned is maintained at public expense, or at the expense of a social security institution or service
  • The person concerned is in receipt of other benefits or indemnities
  • The person concerned made a fraudulent claim or caused the contingency by a criminal offence, or by a willful misconduct, or neglect to make use of the appropriate services (e.g. medical services)
