Résumé

The new initiative for community based health insurance contributes to the fulfilment of the Millennium Development Goals.  It integrates system experience and is flexible enough to  adapt to future challenges.  Furthermore, this orientation guarantees access to quality care for the Rwandan population and in particular the most vulnerable.
