Summary

The Centre is the training arm of the International Labour Organization. It has 50 years' experience of providing training and learning opportunities and services to policymakers, managers, practitioners and trainers from governments, workers' organizations and employers' organizations, and other partner organizations who promote decent work and sustainable development. Its services are also available to the United Nations System as a whole, and in particular to ILO staff.

The Centre offers short courses, academies, tailor- made learning events, comprehensive training projects, advisory services and the design and production of training material. It also offers Masters Programmes run by its Turin School of Development. Activities take place on our campus in Turin, in the participants' home countries, at a distance or through a mixture of these. The Centre uses information technology, including the Internet, to provide distance-learning and tutoring services.

In 2015, the new courses are linked to major policy developments as well as a wide range of topics related to the 8 Areas of Critical Importance.
