Summary

The first volume of the Government of Malawi's newsletter on social protection in Malawi, prepared by the Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Development introduces the Poverty Reduction and Social Protection Division and briefly discussed a range of key activities, such as the ILO-supported review of the Malawi National Social Support Programme, the ongoing development of the Unified Beneficiary Registry, and prospects of developing a Social Support Fund.
