Workers in the cultural and creative sector often lack effective access to social protection. Indeed, the types of contracts and the organization of work prevailing in this sector can affect their coverage and the adequacy of the benefits they receive. The level of coverage for these workers varies from country to country and also among different categories of workers within the sector itself.
