This Note provides an overview of current donor approaches for supporting microinsurance, synthesizes key lessons, and offers operational guidance to donors that are considering launching or already implementing microinsurance programs. It offers a framework that is general enough to be applied in various contexts, recognizing the diversity in approaches that different donors take.
